Malak Kalmoni. Chehab Superb acrostic, Malak, with your references to the zesty and the peppery, it’s quite piquant itself. It’s great how you include the key word in your poem as a clue. Lots of flavorful action words: awakening, flowing, dancing, melding. Your last line captures the essence of piquancy, sharp, tangy, and spicy flavors presented harmoniously. Increasing its zesty, peppery,
Quality to awaken your palate

Empowerment whose grandeur

Undeniably their power springs from
Saturating the media with a narrative
Inculcating their goals of superiority,
Only, they actually strip themselves of honesty
Never favoring justice or equality, Deadly delusion.

Daily to be a better mom, hoping not to
Ascend into heaven before ascertaining
Your happiness at the expense Of her health.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Intelligent, introspective, interesting,
Nurturer, negating violence’s never ending cycle,
Tears of joy and fear, silently leak
Engaged in a society whose fairly
Regarded as the epitome of civility,
Narrowly forgetting equality, except when the
Anvil drops and wakes its conscience,
Teaming life into depravity, while
Inculcating values whose immorality
Overwhelms family ethics,
National, communal compassion whose
Acerbic intention is nothing but discipline,
Love, appreciation of self and other.

Woman, worry not, your nature elevates,
Overwhelms others into a state of
Meaningful existence, unrepentant,
Empowered, independent, confident,
Nurtured and nurturing as
Simply, only she can.

Daily schedule, work, mother, daughter,
Aunt, friend, wife, all are one, woman,
Your input is invaluable, unforgettable.

You capture so many poignant characteristics: the satisfaction of doing one’s best, the compromise of egos, the goals achieved, and best of all, the affirmation that people can be kind as they work together. Heating their anger as opposing views
Enter the fray, aggression rises,
Many loose tempers for they’re blinded
Yet, they still discuss, so change is possible.
