Accolade for my poem,  Secrets of the Bear

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Secrets of the Bear

A dirty stuffed white bear
Thrown, thrown with the blue
Garbage bags haphazardly bare
The signature of disowning the few

Possessions that have lived
Through childhood’s changes
As growing is synonymous to dispossessed
Of imagination’s flow in ages

Where a bear’s innocent eyes
Bare witness to catastrophic
Events, from divorce, to cries
Of violence, to bombs that are cathartic

In their release of pent up emotions
That only the innocent bear perceives
And gives succor where hidden sensations
Are incubated within this cuddly stuffies

Innocently hidden for years
Before the child feels strong enough
To survive without his secret prayers’
Confidant who seems to be rough

Around the edges, but still soft
To the touch as he imparts comfort
In the imprisoned loft
Where tears poores out in the fort

Of his making, where secrets
Are hidden,  trauma rises, pain
Transmute into rivers of bloody tests
Overcome with faith, ethics enliven

The soul with power
Suffusing limbs, heart
To be stronger
And live longer, healthier.

Certificate of Appreciation for my poem, Winter Scape

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Winter Scape

The bare trees are adorned in white
Snow begging for the frost to go,
Take a deep breath and vapor will flow,
The deadly cold has frozen the lake in a fight

Against Niagara Falls’ powerful
Current vainly trying to escape
The icy sheets’ scrape, scratch in a leap
To continue on as a sheet, but, the full

Power of three lakes joining
Is never ending breaking of formed
Ice that disintegrated like glass, popped
Into the current, flop into floating

Unseen for the force the fall
Has broken it asunder, but it has only
Changed form into flowy watery
Water That crashes on rocks like a ball

Bouncing from its fall. The rainbow
Eclipses all the crystalline formations
With its arc of colors shining, agglomerations
Of beauty and hope brightening winter’s flow.

Certificate of Appreciation for my poem,  Rutilant’s Beauty

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Rutilant’s Beauty

The rutilant light shimmered
A vision of beauty caressing
The flow of life that’s endangered
By chaos, war, and debauchery swinging
Their hammer of perception
As the one and only
Equation for life’s classification
Of rank, race, religion all blindly
Followed without question,
Critiquing is just an objection
To a reality that needs annihilation,
A rebuilding of ethics, an abbreviation
For strength of character that’s
Created trends, not followers of What’s
Unimportant: superficial beauties,
Revamped through surgeries
All looking like barbies
None too human, as they’re
Plastic, artificial,  unreal fear
Of loosing beauty’s power.

Silent Chaos

Reading ‘Silent Chaos’, a poem from my poetry book, Perfectly Flawed.
It’s about one’s ability to forget the world is there and focus on your inner-self’s need to be in a quiet place where your imagination can flow and bloom.
