Diploma for my poem, HIS Palm’s Balance

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

HIS Palm’s Balance

HIS palm holds our world in balance
Where chaos and order reign supreme,
Supreme storms, floods, Famine whose
Supreme effects on mankind manifest,
Manifest destruction of balance,
Manifest evil’s depravity winning,
Winning the race of immoral choices,
Winning the Nobel Prize for lies,
Lies that people use to manipulate,
Lies that use to demean self,
Self that wonders, confused as to their identity,
Self where Ego’s Vanity needs its fans,
Fans that blow winds and storms,
Fans that fan fires from thunder storm,
Storm of nature whose advant crows Its anger,
Storm within, a fight over morals and envy,
Envy for what others have,
Envy that drives a wedge between family
Family that falters as faith falls,
Family that stands by you when all fails,
Fails to survive the storm,
Fails to believe and overcome the storm.

Accolade for my poem, Sky, Soil, God

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Sky, Soil, GOD

As I look above, the sky’s scintillating
Colors, whether sunrise, twighlight, sunset, or night
They inspire moods that vary, like colors devoting
Beauty to your every versatility,  like a kite
In flight, I realize, GOD, is all around
Doling out beauty for joy that’s found

In being beside you when times
Are exciting,  cheerful,  depressing,
When you look down upon ecosystems
Surrounding you with miracles, outstanding
In their simplicity: ant home, beehives,
Even larger predators, the need survives

In each one, human, animal, insect,
Knowing YOU’RE present everywhere
Above, below, and at our side. In fact,
That knowledge is what initiate
Our appreciation for all GOD’S creations,
Innately aware of your presence’s jubilations

That empower all to subjugate
Negativity with optimism, transforming, like sunrise,
Our core into being compassionately humane.

Award of Appreciation for my poem: Meditation or Prayer

Thank you, administrators, for the accolade and your hard work 👏

Meditation or Prayer

There seems to be a misunderstanding
On the similarities and differences
Between prayer and meditating.

They both require absolute focus,
Whether it be breathing or reciting
A prayer. Concentration is rigorous.

As you meditate, you listen to calm
Music, breathe, and exhale making
A reverberating sound that’s a balm,

On your frayed nerves, that need
You to pause, listen to your body and soul
As you expell all negativity in a languid

And unhurried fashion that releases
Your pent-up stress, relieving the pressure
That accumulates before meditions.

As for prayer, your focus is stronger,
As one needs to remember precise
Wording that are varied iterations

Of verses, hymns, or paragraphs
That stress the existence of GOD,
His infinite power, creator, and blessings

HE’s bestowed upon humanity
That they’re gratified for and connect
With HIM through HIS words that unfailingly

Build a serene halcyon of peace
That centers in your heart
And spreads into mind, limbs, and your essence.

As you repeat the words,
The vibrations from your pronunciations
Create a divine calm that reduces stresses.

Achieve your peace your way, pray, meditate!

RAMADAN

Remember to be kind

Artful, artistic, an arrow of rightfulness

Memorizing more verses of the Quor’an

Divine intervention for our souls

Amply rewarded for our supplication

Never doubt ALLAH, GOD, will make things easier if your faith is strong.

Hallowed Dialogue

The lion whisperer bends gently
Towards the enormous lion
Caressing his whiskers, quietly,
Softly moving slowly in a run on

Calm strokes as he murmurs
In a singsong voice, base
Undertones that grasp the lion’s roars
Incorporating them into a sotto pause

…

Honoring their Creator, believing
In a melding of minds that’s kind.

As they revere GOD’S gifts
They share a hallowed discussion
Of the importance that lifts
Their souls together into heaven’s transformation.

Happy Thanksgiving

Acrostic

Thankful for all I have, and never

Hate others for having more.

Another year and my appreciation grows

Never stopping its exponential climb.

Kneeling before GOD, the only, 

Serving one another the way

GOD commanded us to be brothers,

Including love of all, while

Vying for HIS benevolence as we

Inquire about the reasoning for events

Glorifying death, murder, and immorality.

Gratitude

How do you express your gratitude?

Depending on what I’m grateful for, I express it differently. When I’m grateful for a job well done, I express it by voicing my gratitude to those who helped achieve the goal. Otherwise, when I’m just expressing gratitude for the things that are given to me, hearing, smell, vision, taste buds, limbs, health, intelligence, and others, I turn my gratitude to God who gave us more than we deserve.

I feel that God has a hand in all the things that I do, even my success and family, as without his Godly gifts to fall back on, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve the things that I have. That’s why, most of my gratitude is directly to Him, via prayer.

Questions … Worries …?

What do you write about when you’re unsure what to write about?

I fear my feelings are binding my ability to write today. I apologize for that, but then you have to give age its due. With it comes: fatigue and unending worries. In the world we live in today, where war, a crisis in food supply, increasing inflation and gas prices, where or who do you turn to to alleviate some of that pressure?

I try to stay strong for my family by keeping it bottled in. But how long can I manage that?

My only recourse is my faith, in which I drench my soul. It has the ability, with GOD’S words to place a balm of peace over a worried soul.

Try it, you won’t regret it.
