Review for my poem, One, Two

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab  This is a thrilling, ethical poem, Malak, a powerful protest against genocide, inequality, and domination. Your righteous anger is brilliant. We need poems like this in the world, or rather, the world needs a kick in the arse like this poem. You’ve created a fantastic form that swells and diminishes; it’s perfect for describing how “a rebellious rage” against injustice and subjugation builds and builds and then acts to restore peace.
Your line syllable count,
1,1,2,3,5,8,16,18, 8, 5, 3, 2, 2, 1,1,
is dramatic and visually appealing. Brava! By, Linda Powers O’Dell

Thank you for the encouraging words.

One, Two

And
One
Two, three,
World is free
Of war not peace that
Rebels against genocide feel
Perpetuate the need for equality, justice
By confronting demeaning attitudes with powerful words that
Instill a rebellious rage for subjugation’s sign’s
Unacceptable domination
Needs a kick in the
Arse to free
Press while
Peaceful
For
Thee

Accolade and Review for my poem,  Heart’s Dialogue

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab this is beautiful Malak. Love the end of the first stanza. That last line. Two three, a squeak. I can imagine a Bob marley butterfly now singing his song of freedom from that line hehe. Optimisms loyalty. What a lovely phrase. So true how we are wearing blindnes to social pressures. Bless. What a deep write indeed. We do live in a topsy turvy world of sadness and joy sometimes. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate you dear friend. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻☺️☺️☺️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 By Natasha Brown

Heart’s Dialogue

Oh heart!
If you could speak
What would you say? A beat,
Two, three, a squeak,

A tweet, a butterfly’s wing
Swings in soaring flight
Letting the beats sing
Their song of freedom, bright

Diurnal light shimmers
In flight a beat of harmony
Starting within, speakers
Belt out optimism’s loyalty

To faith, Belief, humanity
Wearing blinders to pressures,
Social, career, imitators, honesty
That seems to be researchers

Of one’s identity in a world
Teaming with too much variety
Of labels that grind and bind
Our conformity into piety,

While the heart stomps
Into a tamtrum of morality
That doesn’t blend but clamps
Its hold, trying to drown your honesty.

Let your heart speak
It won’t steer you in directions
That deepen the morass that’s bleak,
Rather to happiness’ filled adulation.

Award of Appreciation for my poem: Meditation or Prayer

Thank you, administrators, for the accolade and your hard work 👏

Meditation or Prayer

There seems to be a misunderstanding
On the similarities and differences
Between prayer and meditating.

They both require absolute focus,
Whether it be breathing or reciting
A prayer. Concentration is rigorous.

As you meditate, you listen to calm
Music, breathe, and exhale making
A reverberating sound that’s a balm,

On your frayed nerves, that need
You to pause, listen to your body and soul
As you expell all negativity in a languid

And unhurried fashion that releases
Your pent-up stress, relieving the pressure
That accumulates before meditions.

As for prayer, your focus is stronger,
As one needs to remember precise
Wording that are varied iterations

Of verses, hymns, or paragraphs
That stress the existence of GOD,
His infinite power, creator, and blessings

HE’s bestowed upon humanity
That they’re gratified for and connect
With HIM through HIS words that unfailingly

Build a serene halcyon of peace
That centers in your heart
And spreads into mind, limbs, and your essence.

As you repeat the words,
The vibrations from your pronunciations
Create a divine calm that reduces stresses.

Achieve your peace your way, pray, meditate!

Certificate of Excellence for my poem: Temple of Love

Thank you, administrators, for the honor and your hard work.

Temple of Love

As love grows from a foundation
Of beauty,  my gaze is in contrition
For those who live devoid of love.
Leave, like, live, lively, longing to love …

As each child, man, and woman need a hive
To promote, programing all with reverence.
A need to bathe in the certitude of being
Cocooned and cherished for just existing.

With each caress, word, gaze, request,
You’re inundated with warmth that’s best
Given in daily doses, so as not to fall
Into depression that’ll turn you into a fetal ball.
