Accolade and Review for my poem,  Heart’s Dialogue

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab this is beautiful Malak. Love the end of the first stanza. That last line. Two three, a squeak. I can imagine a Bob marley butterfly now singing his song of freedom from that line hehe. Optimisms loyalty. What a lovely phrase. So true how we are wearing blindnes to social pressures. Bless. What a deep write indeed. We do live in a topsy turvy world of sadness and joy sometimes. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate you dear friend. By Natasha Brown

Heart’s Dialogue

Oh heart!
If you could speak
What would you say? A beat,
Two, three, a squeak,

A tweet, a butterfly’s wing
Swings in soaring flight
Letting the beats sing
Their song of freedom, bright

Diurnal light shimmers
In flight a beat of harmony
Starting within, speakers
Belt out optimism’s loyalty

To faith, Belief, humanity
Wearing blinders to pressures,
Social, career, imitators, honesty
That seems to be researchers

Of one’s identity in a world
Teaming with too much variety
Of labels that grind and bind
Our conformity into piety,

While the heart stomps
Into a tamtrum of morality
That doesn’t blend but clamps
Its hold, trying to drown your honesty.

Let your heart speak
It won’t steer you in directions
That deepen the morass that’s bleak,
Rather to happiness’ filled adulation.

Certificate of Excellence for my poem,  Symphony of Fall

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Symphony of Fall

As the leaves fall singing a last
Hoora to sunny days, warm breezes,
Replaced with a plethora of colors that freezes
On the ground in an array of colors that blast

The verdant greens into yellowish
Greens, oranges,ย  and burnished reds
That crinkle, crackle beneath our feet as heads
Turn to watch the scene divided by roads of hardship

Where the greens have faded
While the other paints a palette of reds
That burn beauty Within as it delves and heads
Into the sunset with its divided colors shaded

By God’s paintbrush that never
Disappoints those who appreciate
The divinity in the balance, never late,
Always just as it equalizes reality of the creator.
