Accolade for my poem,  Energy

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Energy

Everything gives off energy,
People give out vibes that are clingy
To their character, soul, and humbly
Vibrate at a frequency that’s seemly.


 Plants, shrubs, and trees are no different.
 Have you stood by vegetation not cement?
  Felt the energy emanating in a vent,
  Reaching out to reduce anxiety onto a splint?


As my tactile senses overtake me,
I feel energy all around me:
People, cars, trees, parks are tame
And engrossed in a game that’s not lame.

As I touch a living plant, I feel
     Its need to enrobe me in its touch,
     Its simplicity and innocence that fill
     My fingertips with a current that’s a badge

Of honor, as not all have the same
Level of sensitivity to fall under
The wonderment of nature’s thrall, and name
Man as its destroyer without any rancor.
            

The life force, energy, magnetic field
Are all one and the same, as each 

Creature emanates a void that embraced
Its emptiness by acknowledging its existence.

Award of Excellence for my poem,

Thank you, administrators,  for the honor and your hard work

Man’s Rejuvenation

The garden begins beautifying bloom
As the birds start tweeting harmony’s tune
Waking all nature from its dormant time
Into a rainbow of brightness In June
That destroyed depression as nature’s
Beauty envelopes symphony’s prayers
Lifting soul from morass of stagnation.

Its simple beauty reigns supreme over
All that man turns complex When it’s simple
Pleasures around are enjoyed better
When all is shared with loved ones, whose ample
Support surrounds us in a balm of peace
As contemplation of beauty helps fleece
Negative into positivity.

Thank you, administrators,  for the honor and your hard work.

Remorseful Actions

As the guilt presses down on my heart,
I look into the sky towards your hut,
Where your gardens prosper,
And delicacies abound, but never shatter

Your serenity that enrobes contrition
With a balm of faith leading to absolution
For actions that might have created
A snow ball of reactions that fenced

Calamities in your midst,  propelling
You into regretful actions causing
Others pain while striving not to fall
Apart while the pressure turns into a ball

Of explosive events
That need you to barter millions of cents
For your soul in penitence
For actions coming out of ignorance.

Award of Appreciation for my poem: Meditation or Prayer

Thank you, administrators, for the accolade and your hard work 👏

Meditation or Prayer

There seems to be a misunderstanding
On the similarities and differences
Between prayer and meditating.

They both require absolute focus,
Whether it be breathing or reciting
A prayer. Concentration is rigorous.

As you meditate, you listen to calm
Music, breathe, and exhale making
A reverberating sound that’s a balm,

On your frayed nerves, that need
You to pause, listen to your body and soul
As you expell all negativity in a languid

And unhurried fashion that releases
Your pent-up stress, relieving the pressure
That accumulates before meditions.

As for prayer, your focus is stronger,
As one needs to remember precise
Wording that are varied iterations

Of verses, hymns, or paragraphs
That stress the existence of GOD,
His infinite power, creator, and blessings

HE’s bestowed upon humanity
That they’re gratified for and connect
With HIM through HIS words that unfailingly

Build a serene halcyon of peace
That centers in your heart
And spreads into mind, limbs, and your essence.

As you repeat the words,
The vibrations from your pronunciations
Create a divine calm that reduces stresses.

Achieve your peace your way, pray, meditate!
