Dream, Dream
As children we dream Dream of life of freedom Freedom from discipline’s harsh Harsh standards, imposed by adults, Adults whose wisdom is widely, Widely superior, and only wish, Wish for the best for their children. Children then dream of becoming, Becoming adults, working at the dream, Dream job, where little to no work, Work is required, but pays, Pays a high salary to buy, Buy all the things they dreamt, Dreamt of as children, whose parents, Parents knew better than to spoil Spoil them into becoming dependent, Dependent on others to survive, Survive with their integrity, Integrity that becomes their bond, Bond, contract, verbal or written, Written only as a reminder, Reminder of obligations that render, Render their own discipline varied, Varied from childhood, since, Since it’s self-imposed, not demanded. Demanded of your dreams to soar, Soar as far as your imagination, Imagination will allow, then go, Go further, since rules are to be, Be plundered into submission Submission to your dream’s wonder.

Strangers In The Night
Strangers in the night, Passing through a fright, Gambling away all their might!
Strangers in the night, Forever zipping away in a light Moment, not planning out for a long blight.
Passing strangers in the night, Help us unwind, as we spill our plight, Knowing there are no consequences to our tongue’s flight.
Passing strangers travel together at night, Sharing secrets, hoarding their feelings of fright, As Atlas did for the Greeks to keep them in the fight.
Passing strangers in the night, Shake, tremble, and vibrate suffering in darkened light, So that it envelopes them from within and out in bright light.
Passing strangers dancing in the night Celebrate life’s gifts of unveiled secret height That confines your freedom to be bright at night.

Deemflum Falls
In the icy winter frost, the visit To Niagara Falls is a balm on a troubled Soul whose daily anxieties transform into mist That continually rise above the falls, unmoved By the chaotic madness of a world Filled with death, murder, violence, And destruction that require you to hold Onto your sanity by turning to the deemflum face
Of letting your worries evaporate, Like the misty fog, into skies so blue, They pierce into a heart rarely in sync with fate As the cacophony of splashing sheets of true
Blue raise your spirit into a haven Of quietude balanced by the icy Crunch of frozen shelves shedding cotton Balls through the air like rainy
Pellets that strike a balance Between the reality and what’s imaginary.

Ignoring Lies
As the media plays its deceptive role In the humanitarian atrocities taking place, We witness two radically, opposing Perspectives playing out without understanding
Which reality takes precedence, Nor which realities are factual without presence Of alterations to increase dramatization That skews perspectives of oppression
And horror of the atrocities faced By victims of an unending war, as they prayed For absolution of their sins while witnessing Death’s magnanimous stealth, stealing
Away an easy end with a suffucating breath That gurgles out, indecisive if life is better than death. Who’s to say that opposing deceit Is NOT a great feat?
Honesty in revolting against lies Awakens consciousness that pries Away the screen that’s hoodwinked Those who wished for ignorance that burdened
Them with the knowledge Of their own moral corruption on a ledge That destroys without question By enforcing rules of misplaced adulation.

Sunrise
Every day, without fail, the sun rises It shines its intangible Rays, like fingers Caressing your skin, body and limbs. Everyone of them ends in special memories, As each day brings in new events. Some times, those are sad and lonely, Others are depressing and gravely Affect your humor and oddities. They can take you into a dark abyss Of despair, and return with cheers. Inspire you to believe in one more sunrise, That lifts you above the murky fogs, Into clouds, of such pristine whites, That their glare overpowers, While your fogged windows, from your breaths Show your anticipation forwards To one more unbelievable sunrise, That becomes your muse for life’s Unending wonder, transience, and colors. Rainbows of which come out after the rains, Reminding those bogged down to rise Rise to the challenge of beauty and lived lives.

Filled with dissent, competition, a love of money, And sin. I give thanks that my love, husband, Is my rock, my motivator, and one key To my writing that’s unwavering and always holds my hand.
My love is there for the difficult decisions, Guidance and friend to our children, Has sleepless nights when they’re in positions Of upheaval that require strategic precision.
For me, he is my star in a dark night, The shoulder I cry into when life’s unbearable Losses enrobe my heart in darkness, as he helps me fight The devouring abyss making it acceptable.

Evil’s Moon
On the night of the wolf moon The wolves howl to one another, Communicating their feelings in a leer, A gross grin that hounds the soul, a goon,
Fierce, a horrific distortion of beauty As the full moon, its crevices, darken The night into a fearsome howl that’ll blacken The depraved souls into coal, crusty
In consistency, flammable, evil, Evil reigns with its oppressive Weight, that governs stagnant, progressive Deterioration into lunacy that coil
Around the heart, squeezes, Till the suffocating of goodness prevails Seeking to seize all faith, beliefs, Throwing them to the wolves, scavenges
In the unholy darkness To spread depravity, not faith.
