Dances, rhymes, alliteration, metaphor, Personification, all and more catalyze Into a wondrous tale that’ll organize A timeline with a setting, incomparable per

Story line intermixing reality, Fiction, perception in a sign That widens others’ perspectives in line With a new narrative whose harmony

The rutilant light shimmered A vision of beauty caressing The flow of life that’s endangered By chaos, war, and debauchery swinging Their hammer of perception As the one and only Equation for life’s classification Of rank, race, religion all blindly Followed without question, Critiquing is just an objection To a reality that needs annihilation, A rebuilding of ethics, an abbreviation For strength of character that’s Created trends, not followers of What’s Unimportant: superficial beauties, Revamped through surgeries All looking like barbies None too human, as they’re Plastic, artificial, unreal fear Of loosing beauty’s power.

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab Vikas Arora My warmest greetings!
Yes! The collaborative poem connects with the theme of light and shadow. Analysis of the Poem The poem directly addresses the theme of light and shadow both literally and figuratively. It uses the contrast to explore concepts like creation, balance, emotion, and human nature. Here is a breakdown of how the poem connects to the theme: Creation and Balance: The first stanza uses the “shadows” as the origin of creation, with beauty being born “into light.” This sets up the idea that light and dark aren’t just opposites, but are intertwined and necessary for a balanced whole. Metaphor for Emotions: The poem extends the metaphor to human experience, comparing “pathos” (suffering, emotion) and “richness of soul” to opposing sides of a coin. This parallels the relationship between light and shadow, suggesting that both are essential parts of our inner world. Literal and Figurative Light Sources: The poem mentions the sun and moon as literal sources of light and shadow, but also gives them metaphorical roles. The sun’s “ablutions” and the moon’s “passions” are presented as forces that “coincide in stabilizing” the world. This reinforces the idea of balance between contrasting elements. The Unavoidable Shadow: The second poem brings in the personal, unavoidable nature of a shadow. The line, “Wherever you may go your shadow stays with you,” emphasizes that our “shadow” or darker side is an intrinsic part of us, a constant companion. This suggests that we cannot escape the duality of light and dark within ourselves. The poem consistently uses the duality of light and shadow to represent other opposing concepts like chaos and order, emotion and soul, and the divine and the mundane. The recurring idea is that these forces are not meant to be separated but exist in a state of interdependence, contributing to a harmonious or “mellow” whole.
👌Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful collaborative poem. 👏Congratulations! 👏👏🌷🌷🙏🏻🙏🏻🎉🎊

Collaborative poem Malak Kalmoni Chehab & Drvikas Arora Canada India Theme: Light and shadow
Within the shadows, creation came from chaos A reign out of which beauty was born Into light, where balance isn’t a horn That divides but embraces the two sides, pathos
And richness of soul, are opposing Sides of the same coin of emotions, Equipoised similarly to sun’s ablutions And the moon’s passions coincide in stabilizing

Poet, poem, poetry policing a world in poppery Overcoming chaos through order, design, Entertaining critically, changing constantly, Traversing cultures, emotions in a single jump, Running freely as long as the ink is writing Yet, you feel unheard, for the world is in woe.

Deemflum Falls
In the icy winter frost, the visit To Niagara Falls is a balm on a troubled Soul whose daily anxieties transform into mist That continually rise above the falls, unmoved By the chaotic madness of a world Filled with death, murder, violence, And destruction that require you to hold Onto your sanity by turning to the deemflum face
Of letting your worries evaporate, Like the misty fog, into skies so blue, They pierce into a heart rarely in sync with fate As the cacophony of splashing sheets of true
Blue raise your spirit into a haven Of quietude balanced by the icy Crunch of frozen shelves shedding cotton Balls through the air like rainy
Pellets that strike a balance Between the reality and what’s imaginary.

Deafening Silence
The scariest sound is that of a silenced time In nature, while you’re in the midst Of a storm, the eye is ‘calm before the storm’
… To the strident cacophony of howling winds that feast
… Although the event’s transient accoutrements Leave a world in chaos as it dissipates over land. The wreckage of homes and possessions aren’t contents
….
Lives scattered into the sands of time as they bust Through their raucous imprisonment with cheer And optimism that has no end but in a bright burst.
Let your home be centered around you, Making it transportable and new, as you Enjoy its flimsy, distraught center in a cue.

The fragile beauty of the dandelion In my hand whose grip on land Dares you to eradicate its presence in Zion As it spreads through the wish for peace to lend
A hand to those in need of a blend Of peace in their days of suffering Without end. Wish for peace for them to send
Their children to schools With filled bellies of fresh food Sprinkled with life giving water that drools In honor of a wish for peace that stood
On the doorstep waiting, waiting Patiently for humanity’s response To help save those whose beliefs, never straying, Empowers their wish for peace
For a new generation without The need to revisit the trauma of today’s Dire escalations of genocides in a bout Of cataclysmic fear whose only wish is for peace.

Reading ‘Silent Chaos’, a poem from my poetry book, Perfectly Flawed. It’s about one’s ability to forget the world is there and focus on your inner-self’s need to be in a quiet place where your imagination can flow and bloom.
