Award of Appreciation for my poem, Nepotism’s Destruction

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Nepotism’s Destruction

The poisoned apple can snuff a life
Without a qualm, either slowly or fast,
It still kills without remorse, as strife,
Stress, and negativity are all a test

To be overcome or death is not rest,
It creates gossip’s unrest in negativity,
Whose a pest greater than any disease that’ll crest
And fall as nature accommodates its biology

To fight Its contagion. Yet, it’s still
Easily deposed if positivity takes hold,
Rises to the fore, a brilliant grace of will
That’s unincumbered by all that’s depressed

Into a well of darkness that’s hell
When faith, Belief, and optimism
Are the test that help you ring the bell
That destoys negativity’s Nepotism.

Award of Appreciation for my poem,

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Forgiving Love

In computer language, when writing
Code the use of ‘if and only if’ is a representation
Of the double conditional of loving
And forgiving, for as you love, your adoration

Will inevitably permit you to forgive
For you give excuses for the mistake
Without even thinking twice,  for you have
Compassion, empathy for understanding that life is a cake

Sometimes it’s sweet, fluffy,  delicious,
And others, flat, dry, inedible, unlivable.
So to forgive is to love, and to love’s precious
Gift you must forgive mistakes whose hurt is palpable.

Rest assured that when you apply
This motto, people will return it spontaneously
For life, Karma, is about give and take, happily
Sharing forgiveness and love is endlessly rewarding to both parties.

Award of Appreciation for my poem, Harvest Kindness

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Harvest Kindness

Like the roots through which life
Flows, fluctuates, and grows, flowers,
Bushes, forests blossom with ease, protectors
Of nature require no rewards in strife,

Drought, flood, or perfect weather,
Kindness given without expectations
Grows it’s own roots, foundations
For the hereafter that require prayer,

Respect given without limits,
Belief in the intangible, angels,
Nature’s wonderment, peace fills
Our hearts as we give and pits

Our disappointments against
Harvesting morality’s seeds
Granting Our harmony that pleads
For compassion’s empathy, a breast

Shoulder you can rely on in the worst
Times, for you’ve given freely
And your reward comes in heavenly
Support from all you’ve helped, the best

Conveyors of unrest, for they
Request only your grain of kindness
In a yield of pure emotion, bless
The quay where you can rest every day.

Award of Appreciation for my poem, Creating Meaning

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Creating Meaning

The rhetoric, philosophy about the meaning of life
Has been in existence since the beginning of time,
Yet, for each generation, a new theory creates strife
In the souls of those in their prime

Needing an answer to consolidate
An identity they’ve forgotten existed
For following the trends gives a state
Of uncertainty for none are God send,

Rather, they derive pleasure in creating
Confusion and lack on comprehension
That creating your own meaning
To life is a necessary gift of compassion

For only when you’ve created it
Will you fight for it, never giving
Up on its dreams, an opportunity that bit
Out the uncertainty, giving rise to humanity’s creating.

Award of Appreciation for my poem, You Are the Moon

Thank you,  administrators,  for the honor and your hard work.

You Are the Moon

As the moon, alone in the dark sky,
Its light lightens the darkness, like
You, whose presence illuminates by
Existing alone, emblazon cheer’s bike

That rides an uneven trajectory
Leading a life that radiates your flight
While you light your path, cautiously
You navigate using the kindling within to bite

The darkness with fear that’ll hunger
To dissipate your glow of optimism,
But your spirit and light will glitter
And smolder the fire against pessimism

That oppresses in the night,
But, you combat its limitations
By letting your positivity soar, a kite
Flimsy yet strong enough to conquer trepidation.

Problems’ Peace

Problems, Problems galore gyrating
To a beat only they perceive, thumping
Blood into vessels that can’t cope with ease
As anxiety and worry are a great tease.

Running is a breeze as playing
The ostrich is quite frankly abetting
The delay of facing what you fear,
The problem that has you sleepless, but you revere

Your lack of confrontation that hurts,
You think it would be too harsh and hurts
Others, in reality, the pain is transient
When the logical mind realizes its penchant

For hiding from problems only
Delays the enviable explosion that rarely
Comes without detrimental effects
That affect the resolution of the pests,

That carry within them the ability
To destroy from within peace’s fragility.

Bound Butterfly

Though her wrists be bound
Their elegance and movement do astound
Their delicate strength holds life
In its tiny yet powerful softness rife

…..

Mountains spreading knowledge,
Purity of heart,  its muse for an adage
That’ll live on after the butterfly ‘s death
And the bound woman, but their breath

Filled with hope flies, like a kite,
Spreading harmony that’s always bright.

Award of Appreciation for my poem: Meditation or Prayer

Thank you, administrators, for the accolade and your hard work 👏

Meditation or Prayer

There seems to be a misunderstanding
On the similarities and differences
Between prayer and meditating.

They both require absolute focus,
Whether it be breathing or reciting
A prayer. Concentration is rigorous.

As you meditate, you listen to calm
Music, breathe, and exhale making
A reverberating sound that’s a balm,

On your frayed nerves, that need
You to pause, listen to your body and soul
As you expell all negativity in a languid

And unhurried fashion that releases
Your pent-up stress, relieving the pressure
That accumulates before meditions.

As for prayer, your focus is stronger,
As one needs to remember precise
Wording that are varied iterations

Of verses, hymns, or paragraphs
That stress the existence of GOD,
His infinite power, creator, and blessings

HE’s bestowed upon humanity
That they’re gratified for and connect
With HIM through HIS words that unfailingly

Build a serene halcyon of peace
That centers in your heart
And spreads into mind, limbs, and your essence.

As you repeat the words,
The vibrations from your pronunciations
Create a divine calm that reduces stresses.

Achieve your peace your way, pray, meditate!

Spontaneous Flight

How do you spread your
Wings to let love’s happiness in and pour?
How does peace get a slice
When stress has a price?
How do you keep your purity
Alive when faced with depravity?

They all come easily when faith,
Spirituality have a strong breath
That lightens a load in stealth,
Streaming a warm breeze
Into a leaden heart, a squeeze
Of the slithers of sneaky suppression
Of dark whispers causing depression.

Let the light of love, purity,
Peace and joy spread their security
In a balm of comfort and spontaneity.
