MUNDANE
Muddle through the mundane morass Under the umbrella of life, ungrateful for the Narcissist cycle of life that’s drainingly Dramatic in daily routines, yet, once your Ample gratitude kicks in, you Note all you have that others don’t Empowers you to push through the little things.

Energy
Everything gives off energy, People give out vibes that are clingy To their character, soul, and humbly Vibrate at a frequency that’s seemly. Plants, shrubs, and trees are no different. Have you stood by vegetation not cement? Felt the energy emanating in a vent, Reaching out to reduce anxiety onto a splint? As my tactile senses overtake me, I feel energy all around me: People, cars, trees, parks are tame And engrossed in a game that’s not lame. As I touch a living plant, I feel Its need to enrobe me in its touch, Its simplicity and innocence that fill My fingertips with a current that’s a badge Of honor, as not all have the same Level of sensitivity to fall under The wonderment of nature’s thrall, and name Man as its destroyer without any rancor. The life force, energy, magnetic field Are all one and the same, as each Creature emanates a void that embraced Its emptiness by acknowledging its existence.

Resurrect Miracles
In a world where faith dissipates, Like fog in the fall skies, creates Mammals, mountains, shapes that face The world, haughty in the knowledge that grace
Is innate and humanity is stamped In your DNA, but while sins have manned A heavy toll on your dwindling compassion It requires the miracle of resurrection
In a bid to elevate humanity from Its downward spiral into depravity that come With a heavy price, souls flaming in hell. It’s time for a resuscitation of what fell,
Sinful souls suffering, I give You a second chance to live A just, compassionate life full Of prayer, communion with GOD, never full of bull.

Betrayal’s Ease
Shattered! Shattered mirror on the wall, Tell me the tale of this broken heart, Heart that was given in good faith, fall From its bubble of joy unbound, ’till It start
Seeing a change in behavior From her once loving spouse. It started with little things, later Home arrivals, short temper, grouse
As though she hasn’t accomplished Her duties: caring for kids, perfecting The art of home management, all his favored Dishes made, all’s organized, unspoiled
Respect for his need to rest After a strenuous day of work, Not unlike hers, but does hers count? You might ask. The answer is, it’s all work!
Then, she finds a jeweler’s receipt, Waits several days to receive the gift, But nothing comes of it except pain that leapt Creating doubt, dishonor, hurt, she feels like a thrift
For her only treasures from him now Are the angels asleep as she worries What’s next. He comes home with undies In his pant pocket. She recognizes
The brand, of course, it’s not hers! She decides to shelve her negative Assumptions, deciding to give another’s Chance to either talk about it or walk away to live
Without her beauty, compassion, freshness, Empathy that come in her brand of flair, A flair that’s still attractive, needing caress That’ll alleviate what presses the air
Out of chocking lungs that can’t breathe From the devastating betrayal that doesn’t ease.

Trapped Humanity
A light breeze picks up and flings dried leaves Into the air scraping along the asphalt and grass. Outside, the sun is shining brightly, but within The window, where the air is stale from fear of pain Everyone seems to be hiding behind squares of glass Letting life pass them by as their isolation presses Down on their sanity, and cabin fever rises. People’s tempers become unbearable, Spouses, children, friends, and close ones Bear the brunt of each other’s ire, sparingling They calm one another, worrying how long This pandemic will stop the living from really living.
It feels like the walls are closing in on me, Where none were there before. Don’t let your confinement bind your movement, Health, prayer, belief, courage, and helpfulness. Your humanity, sanity, and health will be no less Important in understanding one another’s plight, And disdaining those who have so little value for light, Life, liveliness, and loving, a death sentence, bright In its suffocating need to oppress While faith is for the living that’ll never press Depression into hearts stagnant from hibernation.
