A new chapter begins in a flurry Of white flowy snow, soft as wool, pearly Shine giving us fleeting hope that’ll soar In flight forever fighting the depressor For dominion over the fealty for life That’ll keep our flighty hearts young with fire.

Mr. & Mrs. Google:”What have you done?” We’ve had a child: AI. What does it do? It copies people’s work without stricture. What do you mean? I mean, ask for a Monet, And it’ll create a copy of his style And posit it as a new and improved Monet.

Sacred Light
The bare tree stands alone, Alone, with its empty branches, Branches reaching up, up into the sky, Sky in supplication’s gratitude, Gratitude that a sliver of light, Light lights up the road in white, White snow blanketing the roads, Roads of life filled with their twists, Twists, turns, and upheavals, Upheavals testing your fortitude, Fortitude in your strength to stand, Stand alone, facing ice, gales, storms, Storms that tempt you to give up, Give up the faithful fight, Fight in knowing that to survive, Survive is a sacred right, Right of passage that’ll bite, Bite into your faith to self-destruct, Destruct under social pressure, Pressure that requires nothing, Nothing except following your desires, Desires that lead you astray, Astray from the path of faith, Faith lighting your darkest, Darkest hour with a sparkle, Sparkle that doesn’t fade.

And only those ungenerous with their humanity forgo gatherings that uplift the soul.

The fragile beauty of the dandelion In my hand whose grip on land Dares you to eradicate its presence in Zion As it spreads through the wish for peace to lend
A hand to those in need of a blend Of peace in their days of suffering Without end. Wish for peace for them to send
Their children to schools With filled bellies of fresh food Sprinkled with life giving water that drools In honor of a wish for peace that stood
On the doorstep waiting, waiting Patiently for humanity’s response To help save those whose beliefs, never straying, Empowers their wish for peace
For a new generation without The need to revisit the trauma of today’s Dire escalations of genocides in a bout Of cataclysmic fear whose only wish is for peace.
