Review for my poem,  The Imaginary Train

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab awesome imagery. Love the picture you paint of nature being more beautiful than the finest jewels. By, Karen Burns

Absolutely cracking writing! No stopping! I see a scarred old steam train overcoming every obstacle put in it’s path until  finally crawling into the welcome of the silent shunting shed. Brilliant! By, Chris Wager

The Imaginary Train

The antique train whose trim
Of burnished wood shone against
The moonlight perpetrating its glam
Exterior with inner luxury at the behest
Of imagination that couldn’t rest.

The marvels of crystal chandeliers
Hanging over dining areas stupefy
The onlooker with wealth that prospers
Through diamond necklaces dangling in hefty
Abundance with gold on skin that’s shiny.

My eyes stray to windows whose glare
Of the lover’s moon is framed
In a beauteous flame that’ll revere
The scene unfolding in a dreamed
Opulent night littered with star-studded

Light of glittery jewels that put
Diamonds, rubies, sapphires, to shame
As the light blinds your eyes and cut
The veil of imagination by rendering it lame
In the presence of nature’s magic that’s aflame.

Let the train take you on its journey,
The journey of life that twists,  turns,
Dips, and rises to all occasions with a flurry
Of activity that glories fighting pains,
Overcoming obstacles as small as grains.

Reviews for my poem,  Free Speech

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab brilliant political passion piece! It would be awesome to hear you perform it. By, Tara Lucy Hicks

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab hello Malak… I pray we can find peace without the politics soon… great poem! By, Matt Elmore

Free Speech

Black cap and gown covering her
Blue eyes and Golden spun hair,
While the inspirational Statue of Liberty
Dares to hold its hand, plainly

Trying to obstruct her from
Speaking her mind, daring to come
Forward with the truth to resound
In media’s intifada while bound

In their thirst for FREE Speech
As they’re jailed for taking things out of reach
Of politicians suppressing truth
As the people dying aren’t white, but are couth

In their protests, while the police
Take away over two thousand in a thrice
To reduce the Roar for justice
That can never be returned to those advocating for peace.

Your time in office is running out
Ye of powerful friends in high places, scurry in a bout
Of flurried activities,  hidden from sight,
To better attain your objective: Money and Flight!

Accolade and Review for my poem, War’s Victories

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab Wow, Malak, a double acrostic, these are not easy and yours is fantastic! Not precisely an acrostic as the ending words don’t always begin with the beginning letter of the line, but I find this to be an exciting innovation. Your vocabulary and images are so stirring, quite emotionally moving! Throughout, you are calling poignantly for peace, for a symphony of souls united. If only all would renounce violence, the “constant and cacophony of death!” Superb poem!! By Linda Powers O’Dell

Double Acrostic
WAR’S VICTORIES

Wallowing in War’s endless cycle of       laW
Amplifyies the voices of victors who      stAnd
Reviewing their accomplishments of destRuction
Steal the visuals of those combating for Survival

Villains of evil violence stand as their      Vision
Issues a constant cacophony of death    Instead of
Carefully striving towards a lasting    peaCe
Tasting its victory as murder is               sTopped
Outlasting the carnage into a        symphOny of
Rousing screams, strikes,                 congRegations
Intermixing races, religions, absolute harmonIes
Eternally standing together pledging symEtry,
Symphony around the victories of peaceS

Review for my double acrostic poem, BELLY LAUGHS POP

Thank you both for your critique. Your support is highly appreciated.

BELLY LAUGHS POP
(Double Accrostic)

Bellow, bleat, blather, blow, bloB,
Every laugh’s absurdity is in somE
Lanky’s lair making him squirm and waiL
Laughing while his belly will lolL …
Yelling, chortling, snickers all gigglY.

Lively tunes rhythmically lulL
As you take a breath and rise, A
Universal communication in perdU
Glorying in its transience that belonG
Here to help you revere each laugH
Simply to make you feel younger, and haS

Princely returns, for you to droP
Over reality into a world where chortling’s toO
Powerful to be beat by a slumP.
