The ripples of your actions transcend Your present, as their butterfly effects are Riddled with an elliptical cycle that’ll band your Regret, elation into a box that’ll lend
A heavy weight that sinks into a grave Where its ripples affect your day and flay You, as you’re unaware of the magnitude of the pay You pay while it sits under the ceaseless wave.

For me, Nostalgia comes with a variety of smells, sounds, especially children’s laughter, all have a soothing effect on me as well as remind me to appreciate what I do have now, in the present time.

The branches, arms whose scratchy fingers Reach out to the sun in supplication’s furors As they imbibe their chosen nectars From the sun’s rays of energy, golden scepters
Vying for each caress to shine brilliantly Off foliage, rainbows of greens, roses, gangly Rousers of spreading life beams comically As the petals of the flower spread soaring languidly
Into to the sky, as though it’s natural For flowers to fly and stay in perpetual Flight! Then the moss greens jump with the gall To croak into a sepulcher of green that pall
Into insects that crawl, fall into a sea Of fauna riddled with danger, not just a bee But brightly colored serpents that make feel free To pick as their beauty Dazzle, but their bite is the fee
You pay for holding such wonder In slippery hands filled with fear As it opens a mouth filled with canines, needlers Of poisons of the same colors as their skin. As per
Forest law, the strong prey on the weak But their jeweled colors deceive you to look Closer, a risk not for the faint of heart that brook A charm that leads you astray, so peak
Into this enchanted forest of amazement But take care not be ensorcelled by its sharp bombardment.

As social media floods us with videos, Pictures of people suffering in wars, Famine, floods, quakes, mining stars, I wonder if experiencing suffering throws
The meaning of life such great woes That it obliges the sufferer to appreciate Its transcience, sheer momentary joy that fate Puts in their midst for gratitude to crows
Its sincerity when it rises from suffering, Teaching the simplicity of life’s Ethics, that need to be adhered to in strife’s And Peace’s furors in their struggling.

The night’s fading darkness Is illuminated by filaments that glimmers With piercing reddish hues Into a horizon of fading darkened blues.
With each touch of brilliant, glinting light The scenery is transformed, bright As a white pigeon in heightened flight, Soaring, like Icarus, too near the sun’s slight
Heat that tenderly caresses its feathery Wings across all living things, bravely Broaching the new day optimistically, Knowing that man’s destruction will invariably
Alter the breathtaking beauty of sunrise, Twisting its vibrancy into shades Of tenebrous grey, colorless, and lifeless, As everything becomes hopeless.
Let each new day be your oath To be stronger than the sun’s breadth, As you emulate its depth Of strength, that reigns above all in stealth.

Amadé, a change of name that came With fame But his genius compositions only improved, His soul was a part of his music, recorded For all to critique, enjoy, the Heartbeat Waltz in a flame
Of cadence whose tempo flies into dance To uplift the soul from the succulant morass, The speed of the rhythm, consonance, Modulation play together in harmony of place
And time to enjoy the emotional Highs, lows, serene notes that Help the soul soar into a world whose bat Of destruction frolics under the guise of corporeal
Sensuality innate in passionate humanity, For without its imaginative freedom Hope’s determination fluctuates into a dam Of solid desperation only broken by musicality.
