Double Gold Certificate for my poem,

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Free in Space

She soars free into space
Her raven black hair flows
Like wings behind her as she thrown
Her head back in appreciation, grace

And contemplation of the woes
Left behind as she raises her arms
Back in a dancer’s pose covered in sheer palm’s
Leaves in bronze, contrasting with black sky that rose

In stars and blots of light
Surrounding her lovingly
As harmony from within translates outwardly
And brightens the sky in a spotlight

Of infinite possibilities as imagination
Takes a deep dive into the stratosphere
Hugging her form in jewels that peer
Into her soul, ready to steal her fraternization

With a world in chaos, yet she imposes
Her absolute wonder with the simplicity
She reduces the world for her to flee captivity
Of depravity’s prison, shakles like roses.

Certificate of Participation for my poem,  Karma

Thank you, administrators,  for the accolade and your hard work.

Karma

All man-made laws have loopholes
That help people become fools

For not striding the narrow path
That emblazons morality in a breath

Radiating Karmic laws of wisdom:
Actions demand reactions, while calm

Patience are rewards in themselves,
As well as reducing regret that halves

Your wasted time on your perception
Of a past long gone, when the now’s convention

For living with all that’s happened before,
But focusing on your motivation to perform

Better today and tomorrow,  for noone knows
What the future holds except what we make of it that blows.

Blows away our expectations
Into the stratosphere of humble imaginations.

As we take the pose to meditate
Theses thoughts flutter on the overflowing plate

Of responsibilities, endless, sapping
Energies that need rejuvenating

As quiet solitude is a necessary boon
That settles the soul from its frantic cocoon.

Another Certificate

This Honorable mention is for the following poem based on the below picture:

Flow of ONE

Sitting alone,
Surrounded by water’s flow,
Nature’s song humming in a glow
Of tweets, buzzing, crackling, whine,
All in a spontaneous symphony in a crown
Of glory, seeping into the soul in a halo
Of protection against a throw
Of reality imposing a tun
Of fear, that’s clear.

Enjoying
The simplicity of a world
Governed by nature’s cycling
Between life-and-death, beauty and terrifying.
The openness of a world that relies on its principles,
Automatically reduces dessension, as dividing
Is done innately, reverently, loving
Every difference,  embracing
Our merging as ONE.

Addiction

I’m an addict

And I know it!

I revere two of the three Cs:

Coffee, candy, and cigarettes.

I love my coffee alone with my contemplation

Of life, likes, posts, news, like a great commotion,

Flitting from one to the next trying to see

What’s best before I rest to be free.

Posts galore and replies of mine

Make my day, as the taste of Coffee

Feels like a sinful pleasure.

With my dark drink, I bite into chocolate,

And drift into a coma at heaven’s gate.

I savor the sweetness along the strength

Of body of the coffee and it’s bitterness.

Life with the morning rituals

Cake, candy, chocolate, coffee and sweets

Is like life without a hero like Ferrero,

Or Cadbury, Mars, KitKat, and Aero!

Raising the bar in a day filled

With noise, poised to litter the mind

With fear, worry, and being drear!

So my habitual start is set in stone:

Coffee, contemplation, quiet that have

A lead to social media, news, where I refuse

To succumb to its dadarkness

That needs to twist your morning addictions

Into a depressive, foggy darkness.

Let your coffee’s wisdom fill

Your empty cup with hope that will

Reject to solidify into despair,

But reaches in your depths to repair.
