Award of Appreciation for my poem, Energy

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Energy

Everything gives off energy,
People give out vibes that are clingy
To their character, soul, and humbly
Vibrate at a frequency that’s seemly.

Plants, shrubs, and trees are no different.
Have you stood by vegetation not cement?
Felt the energy emanating in a vent,
Reaching out to reduce anxiety onto a splint?

As my tactile senses overtake me,
I feel energy all around me:
People,  cars, trees, parks are tame
And engrossed in a game that’s not lame.

As I touch a living plant, I feel
Its need to enrobe me in its touch,
Its simplicity and innocence that fill
My fingertips with a current that’s a badge

Of honor, as not all have the same
Level of sensitivity to fall under
The wonderment of nature’s thrall, and name
Man as its destroyer without any rancor.

The life force, energy,  magnetic field
Are all one and the same, as each
Creature eminates a void, imagination, that embraced
Its emptiness by acknowledging its existence.

Double Gold Certificate for my poem,  Through the Peephole

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Through the Peephole

Her vision narrows through the arid hole
Where she sees a man atop a hill, a mole
Who helped in destruction of the earth
Turning it into a desolate world of sand whose breath

Is filled with thistly particles that engorge
The throat with thorns that need a purge
Or turn health into illness,
Living alone atop that hill in a listless

Desert reigning over despair
Knowing that he was an active pair
In the deterioration from beauty
To sandy winds that topple civility

Into dunes where prosperity
Is only for the elite, a conspiracy
That turned the world into unquestionable
Infertility, where hunger is undoubtable.

Through the peephole of her vision,
Her tears flow quenching the parched station
He stands on with the life giver, water
Raining down in a vision of fertile harvester.

Diploma for my poem, Dream Fields of Lavender

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Dream Fields of Lavender

We are wild and winded
Riding the rippling stallion’s back
Into a field of lavender colored
Flowers, delicate in their appearance but lack
Any real fragility, as they grow
And spread into a sea of lilac bow

That drives the people wild
As they crow their rhyme, beating
Out a rhythm that is sublime, but rend
A passionate response by the carting
Of bales of lilacs to make dyes
That represent the beauty that never dies.

As the field is emptied of its glorious
Harvest, people celebrate their reaping
Rewards with feasts, delicious
In aroma, taste and hail the bounty creeping
Into their bower, making them stronger,
Heartier, and better survivor.

Double Silver Certificate,  poem: Haunted Mansion

I’m always wondrously amazed that my work is being honored by fellow poets.

I’ll apologize to my readers or followers for the darkness of the themes that I’m writing about in the recent months, but they are my outlet for past and present visual trauma of war.
