Reviews for my poem, Lonely Moon

Thank you for the honor and your hard work. Im humbled by your empowering words

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab really vivid, clear imagery in this powerfully evocative piece. Thanks for sharing. X By Monty Baggins

Malak Kalmoni. Chehab A lovely poem about the moon shining on forest treetops covered with snow. Snow that hides footprints of human activity. In the moonlight the snow may seem lonely, but it may still turn to fun?
Your 9 lines, 5,4,7,4,6,4,7,4,5 syllable count, are beautiful descriptive; they set a compelling scene. Marie Harris, former New Hampshire poet laureate, is well known for experimenting with prose poems.  By Linda Powers O’Dell

Lonely Moon

The full moon shines
Above the forest
Treetops, where winter flurries
Deposit fluff,
White powder solid, hard
Ground hiding signs
Of footprints running, hunting
Loneliness to
Turn to fun alone.

Certificate of Excellence for my poem, Sunset Shoreline

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Sunset Shoreline

Many warm, sunny days live
Live, happily in my memory bright,
Bright In the caressing rays of sunset,
Sunset as I ran with my GSD along,
Along the shoreline playing tag,
Tag each other and wrestle,
Wrestle in the wet sand,
Sand whose tiny molecules hide,
Hide everywhere in discomfort,  memory,
Memory of laughs, games,
Games that keep me on my toes,
Toes that leave footprints,
Footprints in the sand , erased,
Erased with the waves kissing,
Kissing the sand gently cradling,
Cradling its billions of grains,
Grains of sand shining in the dying,
Dying light as memory turns dark,
Dark with the night filled with lustrous,
Lustrous lucent quality,  wondrous,
Wondrous to gaze at its resplendent,
Resplendent glory that lives like a star,
Star in your memory bank, always sublime.

Diploma Certificate for my poem: Visible Shadow

Thank you, administrators,  for the accolade and your hard work 👏.

Visible Shadow

My shadow’s always running,
Flying, skipping, jumping behind
My every move, trying, straining
Vainly to keep up with my bustling.

Hello shadow of mine,
I hope you’re not too tired
From the acrobatics that are a vine
Binding us together, hardened

By our will to stay together.
No, no Tornado, quake, blowing wind
Will ever sever our bond, forever,
Stuck together in the drama of life’s wind.

Oh shadow, tell me what you see,
Hear, and sense that I do not.
Let your tales be my lessons to be
Forgiving, understanding, compassionate.

Oh shadow, our ties are our sacred
Vows of loyalty, honesty that’ll keep us
On the righteous path of being honored,
Understood, respected, and visible without a fuss.
