The month of love and adoration Is the shortest one of all! Not all happiness can be packed into its summation, Short, though it is, its effects are a ball!
In its center, couples celebrate their love, As if you only praise your unity, then! And every other day falls short of its possessive Hold on your cheery life filled only with a pen.
The one you use to organize your life, Strategize your next goal, perfect compassion That leads to compromise and less strife, While dissent and enmity to envy’s fashion.
Duty and love are two sides of a coin, Where duty can choke the life out of veneration As it stomps out the cheer from your conjoin.
What an absolute honor to be chosen to be a part of the group of poets, who are top contributors, in the group.

I used to love playing tennis before I had my bowl obstruction surgery. I had great technique, according to our trainer and my husband. I enjoyed playing the winning points that were geometric and corners of the court. I’d feel the need to pump up my arms in victory each time I’d win the point, especially if I’m playing against a very competitive soul who hates loosing!
Now, I’m relegated to only watching the game, either on TV or stadium, ad the game requires the use of abs that I’m not allowed to exercise for fear Of a return Of my condition. Still, while watching, I like to cheer the underdog and a great winning point!

The fragile beauty of the dandelion In my hand, whose grip on land Dares you to eradicate its presence in Zion As it spreads through the wish for peace to lend
A hand to those in need of a blend Of peace in their days of suffering Without end. Wish for peace for them to send
Their children to schools With filled bellies of fresh food Sprinkled with life giving water that drools In honor of a wish for peace that stood
On the doorstep waiting, waiting Patiently for humanity’s response To help save those whose beliefs, never straying, Empowers their wish for peace
For a new generation without The need to revisit the trauma of today’s Dire escalations of genocides in a bout Of cataclysmic fear whose only wish is for peace.
