Diploma Certificate  for my poem, Unbridgable Differences

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Unbridgable Differences

Their heartfelt embrace broke
With the quaking ground that tore, tore
Them apart and flooded the chasm that spoke
Of differences, unbridgable, a core, core

So radically divergent from the other
That rickety, flimsy slats bound, bound
By fraying ropes fall short to cover
The water separating a union found, found

In red’s passionate shroud dissipating
In a cloud of vapor where souls, souls
Soar into the ritulant sunset, grasping
For one another in a spiritual stroke of ghouls

Whose envy, susurations, capitulation
To pressures of a world of depravity, depravity
That bolsters disunity when coordination
And sacrifice would have paved a byway, byway

To an enduring love where spirits
And passion meet on a plane, plane
Of convergence, compassion whose flights
Soar with imagination into utopia’s crane, crane.

Slumbering passively on such power
Of love’s adulation is a great loss, Loss
To both parties and society for the coffer
Than holds sacred bonds collapse, collapse.

Certificate of Notable Submission for my poem, Listen Wisely

Thank you,  administrators,  for the accolade and your hard work.

Listen Wisely

Studies have shown that loud
Talkers are those who have lower
Self-confidence, using their voice in a crowd
Implies they’re trying to overwhelm listener

With their high pitch, while imparting
Little wisdom with gossip galore.
Speak your mind, but do it without parading
How rudely, loudly you interrupt the core

Of the flow of conversation.
What’s best is speaking wisely only,
Listen, think, then offer your opinion
Quietly imposing self-respect, carefully,

So that hearing and processing
What’s being said becomes innate,
As you’re not showing off, rather, stating
Knowledge in an acceptable tone with great

Purpose of conveying advice
That can be helpful if used wisely,
Not thrown away because it’s a piece
Spoken softly in tune with minds’ frequency.

Accolade for my poem,  Festive City

Thank you,  administrators,  for the accolade and your hard work.

Festive City

Painted roofs
On a cold day, running like hoofs,
Their brilliant shine,
It’s just fine
Surrounded by pine
Covered in blinking lights
Green, red, blue, whites
That twinkle at nights
Giving rise to hope
For a future where you don’t mope,
Fall into depression
Caused by holiday celebration
That cost a liver, kidney,
That you can’t live without the key
Of life, for cheer revokes
Loneliness, sadness that provokes
Moodiness, violent cakes
Falling apart As you built a  life that makes
You proud of your veneer
That never touches ethics that peer
Within, making you stronger
For your life is lighter
As most stress is caused
By gossip’s ear, whose vanity paused
To try and emulate what others had.
