Diploma for my poem, HIS Palm’s Balance

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

HIS Palm’s Balance

HIS palm holds our world in balance
Where chaos and order reign supreme,
Supreme storms, floods, Famine whose
Supreme effects on mankind manifest,
Manifest destruction of balance,
Manifest evil’s depravity winning,
Winning the race of immoral choices,
Winning the Nobel Prize for lies,
Lies that people use to manipulate,
Lies that use to demean self,
Self that wonders, confused as to their identity,
Self where Ego’s Vanity needs its fans,
Fans that blow winds and storms,
Fans that fan fires from thunder storm,
Storm of nature whose advant crows Its anger,
Storm within, a fight over morals and envy,
Envy for what others have,
Envy that drives a wedge between family
Family that falters as faith falls,
Family that stands by you when all fails,
Fails to survive the storm,
Fails to believe and overcome the storm.

Accolade for my poem,  Killing Hunger

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Killing Hunger

Famine has lent a scrawny
Build to people’s agony
Of being constantly hungry
They search, vainly, for sustenance that cry:

Killing hunger is a crime

Of conscience for food is plentiful
If shared, not horded in a full
Contingent of warehouses where gruel
Is hidden from the poor, while for the fanciful

Killing hunger is a rhyme

For each individual to recall
For each crumb means a loss of a ball-
Room of people daily who have none but fall
Groveling for a pittance to call

Killing hunger is a crime

Of outstanding proportion
For man’s compassion
Has died with the materialization
Of the individual needs before population

Killing hunger is a rhyme

That never ends, a cycle of obsession
Survival of the Ego before orchestration
Of growth for all that leads to destruction
Of cries and perspiration

Killing hunger is a crime
With no reason or rhyme.

Certificate of Appreciation  for my poem:

Thank you, administrators, for the honor and your hard work. 🙏

Power of Myths

The Myths of yore continue to be the core
Core of tales galore, that have fantastical,
Fantastical, epic adventures and morals,
Morals that still apply in modern,
Modern society where technology,
Technology, AI are what galvanize,
Galvanize social and ethical conscience,
Conscience of a humanity that’s fallen,
Fallen into depravity, hedonism,
Hedonism of empowering the ego,
Ego that promotes no piety,
Piety for powers greater than yours.

Award of Appreciation for my poem: ‘I’s’ Peace

Thank you, administrators, for the accolade and your hard work

‘I’s’ Peace

The consumer world imposes a selfishness
That demands more and more, for
Vanity, rank, and the ego to try to conquer
Its ability to be humane and selfless

By letting the mind sway away
From deifying the self above the rest,
But what’s best is only a test
For the will to overlook the internal grey

That requires feeding one’s conceit
When the reality is that one needs
To look beyond the self that bleeds
Darkness of egotism when the receipt

Of the needs of the world, giving
From oneself to help perceive
That the wonders of the creator leave
Peace within, as one is striving for heaven living.
