FORGIVENESS
Forge your will in steal,
Outmaneuver your enemies, who feel,
Replete in knowing they’re the heel.
Give them your support when they fall,
Inspire them to be better than before.
View their progress and motivate before you bore,
Inverting foe to friend, like before.
Never lose hope for betterment
Even when all is stacked against you,
Simmer the anger, put logic to the forefront
Survive, learn, educate, that hope is never gone.

Our Sly bear is taking the summer seriously. He knows when it’s time to play and when to just rest in the water to cool off. He’s so sly, that he only walks in the shade of the garden, and only comes back for a treat or a splash!
Oh, what fun and worryless is the life of a dog! If his owners are good to him/her, he’s golden as he lives the life of a pampered child.

Deemflum Falls
In the icy winter frost, the visit
To Niagara Falls is a balm on a troubled
Soul whose daily anxieties transform into mist
That continually rise above the falls, unmoved
By the chaotic madness of a world
Filled with death, murder, violence,
And destruction that require you to hold
Onto your sanity by turning to the deemflum face
Of letting your worries evaporate,
Like the misty fog, into skies so blue,
They pierce into a heart rarely in sync with fate
As the cacophony of splashing sheets of true
Blue raise your spirit into a haven
Of quietude balanced by the icy
Crunch of frozen shelves shedding cotton
Balls through the air like rainy
Pellets that strike a balance
Between the reality and what’s imaginary.

Having found my poetic niche, I’ve found that even online friends feel closer to me than others. We’ve connected on a poetic, inspirational plane, where anything is made possible through our writing: peace, war, aggression, agreement, love, love’s demise, and so much more. I’m always astounded by the turn of the phrases, visuals, musicality, and fun available in each poet’s writing and vision of reality that affects them.

SOLILOQUY
Soliloquy is the art of internal dialog
Omitting nothing of your thoughts,
Leaving your subconscious bare
In voicing your greatest wishes, fears,
Ingrained and developed, are all
Omnipotent over your actions, reactions,
Quitting is never the solutions,
Unraveling under pressure is useless,
Yet, falling is what we do best! Then, get up again.

I’ve lived in Tripoli, Lebanon, for 20 odd years and never visited the old Souks. Artisanal clothing of hijab, kaftan, and much more are available to choose from. The variety will please all possible tastes in fashion, from materials to folklore designs, representing the culture of the middle east. The rainbow of colors and materials will astound the onlooker with joy and appreciation for the embroidery.
On the other side of this market is the Gold Souk, where you can see the craftsmen working with the gold, turning it into luxurious pieces.

Vintage Champion
Breakfast is the most important meal,
Meal, so, yes, daily coffee is a must,
Must have my routine lined up into a dot,
Dot of care and reverence for health,
Health vital to survival as coffee,
Coffee is my best friend to lend,
Lend a hand in preparing a champion’s,
Champion’s nutrients in a vintage,
Vintage kitchen, where Lucy’s prancing,
Prancing elegantly from station to,
Station to gather all ingredients for,
For a nutritious meal, giving you fuel,
Fuel to attain success in your day,
Day of conflict, within and without,
Without flaying under the pressure,
Pressure of navigating social endeavors,
Endeavors that need a will of steel,
Steel, like your strength, unlimited,
Unlimited by the dire press of a lack,
Lack of self-confidence that brings,
Brings you down into the depths,
Depths of the darkened abyss, a cave,
Cave of knotted bliss of doubt.
