Life with depression, isolation, Low self-esteem are conductive To lead some into destructive Behavior: drugs, cutting, suicide, in submission
To peer pressure, an abomination Played in schools and social media Who has subliminal criteria That provides some collateral for creation
Of a compulsion to hurt others, knowing Of the resulting confusion that will Lead to unfortunate decisions that kill The will to live free of the castrating
And agitating abomination of isolation Whose suicidal intention folic Within a sea of hardships, backwards, bucolic, Needing calm reflection overcoming self-destruction.

We’re being bombarded, daily, By subliminal messages, hourly, Whispers of drugs, violence, alcoholics’ enduced hazes, minutely, Incorporated in ALL media, compulsively.
Resistance is Futile …
Words, sounds, images coalesce Into an indoctrinated presence That’s insidious in its convergence Into your mind, creating a blinding trace
For behaviors that are incongruent With ‘our’ Ideals of humanity, that are esculent By mediocrity of addiction becoming permanent, As our dependence skyrockets into exponent …
‘Resitance is Futile’ …
As our struggles persist, our Vision, imagination, purveyor Of our strength of cohesion, flutter Into a bud that flourishes in power.
As ‘Resistance is Futile’,
Our obstacles remain tangible, Yet, clearly, unattainable. The need to strive to be corrigible Is embedded in our DNA, for hope is always tenable.
Thus: ‘Resitance is (Not) Futile.’

Setting up the selfie station: Lights, cell stand, and her brand, Typically, she holds clothing to unfold Before it’s framed eternally on her blog.
She twists it this way and that, Showing all its sides, but None of hers, Except, the image she shows.
Behind the smile and frivolity, Lies a darkness, hidden from sight, For fear of being judged carelessly By followers that hold great might.
Anxiety is hers to cradle, While happiness is to be shared, And beauty is revered As long as it’s easily bendable.
What is she trying to prove, With her blog that’s on the move? Is her ambition centered around Follows and likes, without being bound?
I wonder what holds her prisoner, In a world where artifice is power, While, ethics and values take a shower, And faith is flushed out with dirty water.

As technology evolves, our mode Of communication increase, and the code For communication changes in a dire Attempt to keep up with the choir
Of voices raised as they speak Simultaneously, seeking a close peck On the cheek, can be seen not felt, Still, it reduces the Nostalgia you get
Missing loved ones, home, Foods and culture that come To your aid as your workplace Requires ethics that are not of this place.
As days go by, news becomes Scarce, worry alienates you from homes, But, worry not, your phone, window To the world, can show you
Any location instantly with a touch, Especially when internet is a bunch Of wireless connections that fail In the face of exploding bombs that quail
And break the access to people, Your cell is your weapon to gobble Any news of home, under siege, Your hopes revolve around posts on a page
That gives news, any news, News that spews lies in cues With political backing that refuse To admit their subterfuge, that’s of no use,
As we can see, through our cell, Dead fetus being extracted from the rubble, Decapitation, amputations, and remains In bags of flour, plastic bags, even backpack that rains

Education, eradication, indoctrination Are all a part of teaching enlightenment. It’s easy to instill new ethics in competition With tradition that require less effort
And give free reign to desires rampant In their need to rule in confrontation With your subconscious screaming at Behaviors clamoring for ethical commiseration
While schools, society, and social media are in congregation In an overt need to instill the requirement Of integration at the expense of consideration For the soul’s cry for disciplined faith that meant
Ease of conscious, inner calm, that Imposes acceptance, growth, and beautification Of imagination within souls that never forget To be humbled by divine creation.

Why do we hide? Is intimacy such a bad ride, That you need masks to keep all inside?
Or do you soar in flight Fall, shatter, break, and give only a bite Out of the ball, then turn it into a free for all?
