Evil’s Moon
On the night of the wolf moon
The wolves howl to one another,
Communicating their feelings in a leer,
A gross grin that hounds the soul, a goon,
Fierce, a horrific distortion of beauty
As the full moon, its crevices, darken
The night into a fearsome howl that’ll blacken
The depraved souls into coal, crusty
In consistency, flammable, evil,
Evil reigns with its oppressive
Weight, that governs stagnant, progressive
Deterioration into lunacy that coil
Around the heart, squeezes,
Till the suffocating of goodness prevails
Seeking to seize all faith, beliefs,
Throwing them to the wolves, scavenges
In the unholy darkness
To spread depravity, not faith.
