Double Gold Certificate for my poem,  Through the Peephole

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Through the Peephole

Her vision narrows through the arid hole
Where she sees a man atop a hill, a mole
Who helped in destruction of the earth
Turning it into a desolate world of sand whose breath

Is filled with thistly particles that engorge
The throat with thorns that need a purge
Or turn health into illness,
Living alone atop that hill in a listless

Desert reigning over despair
Knowing that he was an active pair
In the deterioration from beauty
To sandy winds that topple civility

Into dunes where prosperity
Is only for the elite, a conspiracy
That turned the world into unquestionable
Infertility, where hunger is undoubtable.

Through the peephole of her vision,
Her tears flow quenching the parched station
He stands on with the life giver, water
Raining down in a vision of fertile harvester.

Diploma for my poem,  Deserted Journey

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Deserted Journey

Sunset’s rutilant blaze builds a haze
Over the horizon in hues of oranges,
Golds, reds, that reflect in dust’s foggy blaze,
They’re synchronized into a ballet of ages

Long gone, when the charriot, wagon,
Animals were the only transportation
Where gumption of pioneers were driven
To survive on perilous roads where legislation

Is words dipped in coffee, disolvable,
Empty Of any dominion over Darwin
Law of ‘survival of the fittest’. They gobble
The deserted desert roads diving in

The depth of an unknown terrain
Nature and man, enemies without
Equal, as they unite to entomb pain
In the arid journey where a bout

Between enemies, ‘frenemies’
Is but the flow of the sands of times
Whose loss is intangible for honesty’s
Dissapearing into the skies in forgotten crimes.

Parched …

Gloom, bloom, doom.
It’s summer, and everything is in bloom,
But the gray skies strive
To hide the downpour that’ll revive.

Each drop of water is precious,
As it cleanses, moistens the gracious
Ground that mixes water, soil, and deteriorating
Vegetation fuse together and are nourishing ..

To the soil, parched for nutrients,
Only rain gives and inundates
The ground with vitamins
That helps vegetation be man’s lungs,

As the destructive man pollutes,
Decimates and ruins
Farm lands as he turns
Them into bare deserts,

We look upon what we’ve wrought,
Feeling helpless as fishes caught
In a net of our making. As we fought
To reverse our destructive blot.
