Certificate of Award for my poem, Poetry or Prose

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Prose or Poetry

As the rhythms and rhymes coalesce
Into a scintillating verse in singsong of fierce
Flame that add alliteration,  allusion,  in force
Of short spurts of words whose meaning will pierce
The heart with its metaphor, repetition,
That stress the value of the description

While poor prose uses some fancy
Word position to turn words into fantasy,
But they lack the harmony
Of simplicity and greater interpretation
As the reader of the poem has his vision
As well as the poets meld into their imagination

That continuously changes with
The reader, context, and their amalgamation.

Certificate of Excellence for my acrostic poem, WHISPER

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Acrostic
WHISPER

Whistling whispers that
Have a holding effect on hearts
Imploding with impossible passions
Subliminal susurations sizzling in
Promises provoquing powerful feeling
Embedded in empires of whispered words
Replying to curiosity currently conversing quietly.

Prickly Rose

The thorn in the rose rose
To prick and pick the pose
Of the stone staying style
Of bone that bosses boys
From tome to tome to
Cover conversations in cold
Winter storms that hinder the hearer
From accepting and acknowledging
Avarice that alienates avowels
Of loyalty, love, and lies
That embue endless enmity.
