I continue to be humbled by this award, although all I really do is apply my hobby, reading poetry, to assess if they fit the guidelines of the group. I love the fact that it’s appreciated, don’t get me wrong, but it feels fraudulent as I enjoy it so much!

The beauty of this application is that it summarizes the digital footprint on the website for me. This is the second time my viewers have increased this drastically! I’m flabbergasted by the support of each and everyone of you. I wish I knew what I did differently to get this many views so that I can repeat the experience over and over again!

I’ve usually taken to checking the stats for my blog, and received a birthday gift worthy of billions: 332 views in the past week. The most I’ve ever gotten was 58. So, I thank you fellow readers, followers, friends, family who are my secondary support system for my writing. I believe I’ve grown as a writer who has a social conscience that reverbarates in my writing. I also believe that my optimism and hope are clearly reflected, which also attracts readers.
I pledge to write more and share with you my favorite pieces, or those that are favored! 😅
