CURVE OF RAINBOW ARC 🌈

Behold the rainbow in the long dark night
With seven colours glowing bright
When darkness encircles all around
Nothing is visible no humanity found
Rainbow  appears with light of hope
For a drowning man it is a saving rope

My cottage of existence is in turmoil
My patience and faith is a vicious trial
In distress I need power of resistance
Keep my cool never lose my patience
I need resilience to bear loss and pain
Sunshine comes after stormy rain

Hope shall show you your destined way
Bring bright sunshine after a rainy day
A tunnel appears  with light at the end
My moribund hope to rainbow ascend
Dispel life’s gloom illumine deep dark
What a miracle this curving lightened arc

Pierce through clouds and move along
Behold rainbow of hope and  feel strong

As the brilliantly colored rainbow shines
Over the besieged, abyssimal land in fines
Of colors that lighten the wary spirit
As it moves from chaos’ reign into a spit
Of lava that builds heat without thunder
A slow wave that crackles a body asunder

As the surges ripple around in brine
And fire, depravity reigns its evil pine
Over mankind’s mind, littering
It with success, money, fame, sporting
Them as badges of honor, empty
Of faith, values that combat immorality.

As the rainbow shines its might,
It reaches within the shadows and fight
The oppressive power of trends that cement
Disorder, debaucher, chaos, that fragment
The tender soul into Humpty’s Dumpty
Pieces impossible to put back as they’re empty

Of value reflected in the colored rainbow
That shines its brilliance, it’s never cowed.

First Place for a collaborative poem,

Thank you, administrators, for the honor and your hard work. Justice Kingsley, it was great working with you.

Building Bridges of Hope

Dusty roads and crowded streets,
Echo dreams with weary beats.
Hands once torn by toil and pain,
Now reach across the loss and strain.

Through power cuts and skies of grey,
Hope still finds a way to stay.
A hawker’s smile, a neighbor’s cheer,
Soft whispers drown the weight of fear.

No bridge too weak, no dream too small,
Together, we can rise from all.
With grit and love, we pave the way,
For brighter nights and fairer days.

Building a physical bridge
Is easy while bridging Stereotypes
Requires eons of activism in an age
Where using social media as capes

For their unruly behaviors
Spreading hate instead of compassion,
Understanding that colors
Your actions into the starvation

Of the soul’s need to integrate
As society breaks those bonds
In a bid to better control the story of hate,
To the aim of breaking bonds that holds.
