Bright Darkness

The soulless soul seeps into the sewers

Hiding, in hindsight, from historic hatefulness

Heaving the heavy heart into the whole

Whose empty empathy embarks on evil’s espousal.  ….

My pen is out of breath,

Its ink seeps, like blood,

Into the world’s depth:

War, murder,  violence never rest,  but fed ….

WORLD POETRY DAY
Double acrostic

Wondrous words                Whirl around and
Over a reality created by wOrlds in images, that are
Readily available              foR consumption,
Leading to leveling the  fieLd of wonder
Down into a frozen              Dream filled with rhyming

Poetic world made up of a  Plethora
Of offerings of a utopian   bOunty imagined by an
Eternal imagination        nevEr grinding
To a stop, as its renewed     Tunneling to greater
Rewards as newer worlds  aRe revealed
Yearning for the                  crY of revelations.

Drive your curiosity to    conDemn the oppressing
Arm of murderers of imaginAtion who travel
Yards over supremacy overtlY conscious of the squelched word.

2 certificates, 1 of Excellence, and 1 Gold, both honoring women for March is Women’s Month. In some countries, March 21, spring, is Mother’s Day as well, which elevates the celebration. My only regret is that, as we celebrate, other mothers around the world are being raped, tortured, and murdered horrifically.

Are you superstitious?

I believe in destiny and fate, not superstitions that are illogical, like a Wishing well, or black cat walking under a ladder bringing bad luck, or number 13, you get the drift. So, no, I’m not destined to believe that superstitions are real, but rather, one has a destiny that’s preordained, but one has a choice of achieving it the righteous way, or not.

The journey was arduous

For calm introspection, that’s generous

As hindsight will always
