Accolade for my poem,  Holiday’s Glow

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Holidays’ Glow

Diamonds glitter in her ears, studs of stars
Shining brighter than the moon,
Pearls adorn her neck, snowwhite flakes bares
The city scape in a romantic glow, flown

With the wind of time as another
Holiday season, decorated to impress,
Flies by with a peaceful blanket of snow, a cover
Of harmony, calm flow of steady
Snowfall dropping on her jeweled
Hair and neck, icy cold, bright gold, fluffy,
Velvety feel like a mother’s hug, hold,

Love, eternal in its giving grace
As she too, with time falls down
As we grow old while youth’s stately
Presence melts like the snow shown

At its season dissipates, replaced
By spring’s colors, warmths, brilliant
Colors that shine brighter than diamond’s encased
In a vine wrapped in wine on a neck, elegant

Never gaunt but sparkles and haunts
Memories as transient as the snowflake
That touches, melts, becomes water, a font
Of changes just her her stylish break.

Certificate of Excellence for my poem,  Symphony of Harmony

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Symphony of Harmony

The soft white snow is falling
Blanketing the world in peaceful
Harmony, where jingles soar in joyful
Solidarity, blending hopes, dreams strumming

Words of uniting families and enemies,
Erasing negativity,  murder with the priority
Of funding hope, compassion,  Humanity
As we get together facing dangers in symphonies.

Certificate of Achievement for my poem,  Twilight’s Darkened Light

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

Twilight’s Darkened Light

The night’s fading darkness
Is illuminated by filaments that glimmers
With piercing reddish hues
Into a horizon of fading darkened blues.

With each touch of brilliant, glinting light
The scenery is transformed,  bright
As a white pigeon in heightened flight,
Soaring, like Icarus, too near the sun’s slight

Heat that tenderly caresses its feathery
Wings across all living things, bravely
Broaching the new day optimistically,
Knowing that man’s destruction will invariably

Alter the breathtaking beauty of sunrise,
Twisting its vibrancy into shades
Of tenebrous grey, colorless, and lifeless,
As everything becomes hopeless.

Let each new day be your oath
To be stronger than the sun’s breadth,
As you emulate its depth
Of strength, that reigns above all in stealth.

Certificate of Excellence for my poem, Wintery Hope

Thank you, administrators, for the honor and your hard work.

Wintery Hope

A new chapter begins in a flurry
Of white flowy snow, soft as wool, pearly
Shine giving us fleeting hope that’ll soar
In flight forever fighting the depressor
For dominion over the fealty for life
That’ll keep our flighty hearts young with fire.

The Groundsel Weed

Woman in my dreams,
Hazy features covered, as you please,
By groundsels whose hairy filaments
Soar around her, blankets
Her from head to toe,
Trying vainly to get closer to blow
Its velvety softness in a Tornado
Of white that sweeps in an elegant flow.

She contemplates its fragility,
Wondering at the reality
Of how daintily flimsy
Its flower is, while its stem is definitely
Rooted in her heart, prettily
Proving it’s longevity.

She reverently catches a blowing
Head, as she admires its flowing
Dance, whose strength is glowing
In a sensual litany that’s dizzying.

Dream of the flower that nestles
Its thorns into delicate hearts
That beats for imagination that bleeds.

Only problem was yeast didn’t proof first-time around and had to remix the dough to get this result! Yummy
