Thank you for the honor and your hard work.
Royal Bengal Tiger
The Royal Bengal tiger lazes
On the tree branch, his spotted coat frizzes
In the heat, while his tail dangles
In time with the grandfather clock, never tangles
As it moves in the air, swatting
Flies, while his eyes revere the butterflies flying,
Their blue wings flapping, unafraid
Of the predator whose paw is laid
Circling over the branch, lazily
Waiting for real prey to materialize fully
Before he engages in a chase
To be what his nature dictates, carnivor, not haste,
Patience is his forte for he waits
Patiently, no excessive movements
To give himself away, until, patience
Is rewarded and prey has no prayer in face
Of such a creature, elegant, powerful,
Yet he only hunts to survive, not fun, but full
Of honor, as he doesn’t exterminate friend
Or family for the hunger for power’s a fiend.
