His Journey

He walks across mountainous terrain,
Rugged, laborious in every step
He takes on his journey to help
In his self-discovery, not vain,

Rather grueling climb is reminiscent
Of life’s challenges he navigated
With fortitude, discipline he grasped
Easily as his discovery isn’t absent,

But present in his ever growing
Knowledge that nothing easily
Achieved lasts or satisfactory,
He trudges on till he’s peaking

Above the peak, walking
Enjoying the scene, where
Beauty is at his fingertips and rear
Is all things forgotten as he’s thinking.

Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

The Emptier The Louder

In an empty vessel, any little drop
Can be heard like an explosion,
It’s just that it cracks and pop
At every corner, because the revolution

It takes within isn’t hindered
By anything of importance, except
Its self-importance! Noted
Is the fact those of fatuous precept

Have little to nothing to share,
Yet what they do impart is done
Loudly so all can hear and inculcate
Their views on others like a buzzing drone

That drop their bombs, retreat,
Learn something new, and repeat!
