Rights of War
Winners of wars determine the history
Propagated to newer generations
In a bid to sway sympathy
Away from the destructions
That took place, as though hiding
Them would erase the truths
Of desolation, Rubble, exploding
Buildings and bodies whose loss of breaths
Determine the storyline of the victor
Rather than about justice, rights,
Humanity, compassion to war prisoner
Whose degradation was placed in highlights
Of social media to consume like
Breakfast, while they resume their
Lives as passive observers who place a pike
In the hearts of survivor.
