Thank you for the honor and your hard work.

The Emptier The Louder

In an empty vessel, any little drop
Can be heard like an explosion,
It’s just that it cracks and pop
At every corner, because the revolution

It takes within isn’t hindered
By anything of importance, except
Its self-importance! Noted
Is the fact those of fatuous precept

Have little to nothing to share,
Yet what they do impart is done
Loudly so all can hear and inculcate
Their views on others like a buzzing drone

That drop their bombs, retreat,
Learn something new, and repeat!

Woman in Red

She gazes through the window pane
Daydreaming of times jeweled, in her mind
She wonders how she’s changed to find
Someone she can’t recognize in a lane

Of others who’ve become plastic
Replicas of a trend that reveres
The artificial instead of the natural seers
Who stand alone, against the flow, barbaric

In being bullied, effective in their honor
To prevail against the adamant need
To be perceived for who they are, indeed
They triumph in the end, like you and me, never poor

As we stand for values and ethics,
Beliefs that teach discipline, empower
Your self-confidence to soar
Into success without despair rooted in heretics.
