Pen and paper

Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

I’d be writing with pen and paper in order to express my poetry.  However,  I’d need to use a dictionary in order to spell check, which would delay the completed work, as my spelling is terrible,  and I rely heavily on spellchecker. However,  it does have a drawback,  and that it usually uses the most commonly used words, while I might need a similarly spelled word with a completely different meaning: quite vs quiet, calm vs qualm, ect….

I do, however, love to doodle as I write, and that isn’t possible on the computer,  at least I’m not proficient enough to do so! 😉

Plus, without the computer, I would always fall behind on the deadlines to poetry contests, as I have a tendency to leave them to the last minute, and using those applications or websites do have a swift submission,  without delay, except in case of electrical outages!

My poetry book, Perfectly Flawed poetry for change, is available on all eplatforms including Amazon. It was on the finalist list for the Canadian Book Club Awards 2023.
