Lean on me
When you’re down on your luck,
When life’s depravity is very dark,
When you’re  feeling blue and stark,

Lean on me
When your hopes are dashed,
When your dreams have crashed,
When your love has been bashed,

Lean on me
When only a friend understands,
When only a friend stands,
When only family is your support strands.

Lean on me
When your celebration is a must,
When your happiness overflows in a bust,
When your ‘crazy’ need a fun beast.

Lean on me
When you’re at your worst,
When you’re at your best,
When you just need a friend.
